The Best Robot Vacuum That Mops

Noah Pinsonnault is a product review analyst for the Home Care and Cleaning Lab at Good Housekeeping.

He evaluates and tests cleaning equipment, focusing on mopping and robot vacuum combos. These multitaskers are a great choice for those who want to take mopping off their to-do list. They feature impressive mapping capabilities and obstacles-avoiding capabilities, and they can even wash and refill their own mopping pads to give themselves a hands-off clean.

The Eufy S1 Pro

If you're looking to buy a robot vacuum that can also mop, this is the model to look for. It's smaller than the other models on this list, making it easier to navigate in tight corners and under furniture. It features a 220 degree lidar, which when combined with its 3D Matrix camera system gives it the best navigation and object avoidance I've ever seen in a robotic vacuum. It's got a battery of 4600mAh which can last up to 170 mins when mopping and sucking is set to standard mode. (It can run longer when it is set to turbo). It can even return to its dock to recharge its battery during the cleaning.

It's very quick and does an excellent job of cleaning my two bedroom apartment. It is able to vacuum carpeted rooms quickly and hardwood floors in the kitchen, living room and hallways with only one pass. Its suction motor of 8,000pa makes short work of picking up sand, dirt and pet hair. Carpet detection automatically increases power when it detects carpets and the double side brushes help to clean debris from corners.

The mopping efficiency, while still impressive, isn't as impressive. The mop's rotating mechanism spins fast and utilizes 2.2lbs to clean dirt and stain. I've noticed that the front arms extend out a bit more than other robots, which is helpful to get into tight corners and along baseboards. The front arms can also be used to sweep larger pieces of debris, such as broken toys and fallen books.

Another nice feature is that the S1 Pro is one of the quietest robot vacuums and mop I've ever used. It doesn't create the same amount of noise while vacuuming or mopping and is much quieter than the Narwal Freo X Ultra or RoboRock S7. The S1 Pro is only limited by the fact that it has to utilize a specific mopping solution and is sold separately. It's easy to install and is effective, but this is something that you'll have to be aware of in case you're purchasing this vacuum for the sole purpose of mopping.

The Roborock Q Revo

The Q Revo stands apart from the majority of robot vacuums which mops in its class. It is a powerful cleaning machine with a variety of features.

affordable robot vacuum  is equipped with an efficient cleaning system that incorporates LiDAR sensor technology and an RGB camera. This enables it to map out the home, detect furniture and other obstacles. This information can be used to clean intelligently and effectively. This results in an efficient, consistent clean that is also quite quick.

In terms of mopping, Q Revo's DuoRoller mop pads are capable of reaching a wide range of surfaces. This includes corners, baseboards, and other hard-to-reach areas. The side brush can be stretched to extend to the floor, close to walls and other fixtures. The mop pads are also washable and can be dried to eliminate odors and stop buildup.

App-based customization is a different interesting feature. The Q Revo lets you adjust the intensity of its suction and choose between a back-andforth or more random patterns. You can also adjust the number of passes it should make, which will determine how quickly the device can move through your home. You can also disable the side brush to prevent damage to carpets and rugs.

The device has a high price tag but has a variety of advanced features. It is important to note, however, that the device is subject to periodic costs in the form of mopping supplies as well as regular maintenance. For  cheap robot vacuum cleaner  need to be replaced every six to twelve months or after 300 hours. The filter will need to be cleaned after 150 hours and the mop pad needs to be replaced every three to six months.

The robot vacuum mop is a top Amazon rating and comes with an array of physical automation features. The vacuum also has an power button that doubles as a 'Clean' button' and a Home button to send it back home after cleaning. It also has a multi-functional dock that automatically empty the dustbin and refills its water tank for mopping and washes and dries its mop pads.

The Shark Matrix Plus

If you're a professional with a lot of work or just want to have a clean home without spending a lot of time on chores, the Shark Matrix Plus is a excellent option. Its powerful performance, smart navigation, and long battery life make it simple to maintain a clean home with little effort.

The Matrix Plus is a 2-in-1 robot vacuum and mop, which means it can handle both vacuuming and mopping. It has two modules: a dry bin and reservoir of water, and a separate mopping module with microfiber pads that snap into and out of the way. It's a little old-fashioned to have separate modules for vacuuming and mopping however it does mean you don't need to worry about changing the bags for disposables or refilling the tank with water.

robot vacuum cleaners  discovered that the Matrix Plus did a great job at both vacuuming and mopping. Its best feature is its precise floorplan map, which it utilizes when cleaning. It was easy for the Matrix Plus to navigate around furniture, rugs, and other obstacles. The app lets you create 'No-Go Zones' or virtual barriers to prevent certain areas from being cleaned by a mop.

We also discovered that the Matrix Plus did surprisingly well in removing hair from pets. It was able to collect many of the hair that our cats shed, and even made it into the nooks and crannies of our stairs, where other robots had struggled. It was relatively quiet and had some nice jingles that let you know when it was starting or completing its task.

The app was too simple and you had to switch the modules each time you changed between mops and vacuuming. The app can't hold multiple maps, which can be a pain if you have a home that has a variety of floors. The Matrix Plus robot is a excellent choice for those who want a smart device that can vacuum and mop.

The Yiko X1 Omni

The X1 Omni is the most expensive robot vacuum that can be found in our review, however it comes with some distinct features that make it worth a look. The X1 Omni is most notable for its massive dock that doubles as a charging base for the robot, a cleaning sink and two water tanks of 4 liters. It also houses the 2.5-liter dustbin and an 2.5 liter dust bin.

The base also has a number of buttons to control the system. These let you manually start cleaning, recall the robot, or start the dock's auto-emptying process. Hold down two buttons to turn off a child lock, which is a nice feature for parents who are worried about children playing with the vacuum.

Like other robotic vacuums the Omni Omni utilizes its camera to spot furniture and obstacles in its path, and then avoid them. Its True Mapping 2.0 navigation system can map your home 10 times faster than laser detection systems and is four times more precise in finding objects.

The X1 can be prone to become stuck if it gets caught in an obstacle like a power cable draped over a rug. It will not work until you remove it manually. While it was not common, it was a frustrating experience when it happened, especially since the X1 Omni doesn't have a "stuck" status alert on its app.

The X1 Omni cannot automatically switch between mopping and vacuuming mode during cleaning. You'll have to manually swap between the two, which isn't too bad aside from the fact that the mopping pads aren't washed and dried between use, which can lead to mildew or mold.

The X1 Omni looks great, thanks to the Jacob Jensen design team (of Bang & Olufsen fame) who designed the sleek, modern base and mopping pad. It's a big difference from the utilitarian black bases of rivals like Roborock or iRobot. It's also a welcome sight for the market that is dominated by boxy units.
